Since otomax transaction data, reseller data fully rely on mssql database. in here i would like to share the importance of sql backup. if your system crash, or hardisk damage you lost everything. you might recover you disk, but data recovery is not a cheap service.
in here i would to share my experience. back in 2008 my server strike by lightning. Actually i have replication, but during that time i just move. My linux sql server down and i ignore the replication, i think 2 days later it's maybe okay. but the disaster coming on next day. with a lightning strike via land line telephone, it destroy everything.
but on linux replication i have all reseller data only the deposit balance data is not match and not up to date to that day. yes i was able to load all reseller data and force me to reset all balance of all reseller into zero (0).
most reseller saying i eat all their money, some understand the situation, that time i have 5000 reseller but the active is 1000 passive reseller 4000 my daily transaction is 15000 transaction.
after the incident most reseller leave my business service yes i still have reseller data but reseller is not happy with the situation. all theif money suddenly become 0 in here. i have no way.
the restoration of the hardisk took me 30 days. after 30 days i able to extract database and re enter deposit one by one manually. but i lost customers trust. that was still lucky i have the replication database, if i don't have i think they will bring me to police, throw me into jail.
this is one of my bad experience, i hope that don't happen to you.
here i will share you a link software for otomax database backup. so please all of you do backup regularly. this software is freeware, but also have pro version paid version.

outside there alot of similiar software you can be find with google.
alternatively you can backup the otomax.mdb with other software copy tools. depend which flavor you like

The other way around is we have developed our own unique service which is executed
in synchronization with Otomax.. and takes up the back up of the database In the way : time and
moment you want.. syncs it.. and mails it to your email id thus making it a fool proof process..
The database is safe with you with all updates and files at regular instant of time thus resolving all
your queries and issues of data loss..
